Went on a 2 days hiking tour in Sapa Valley with Sapa tracking.
Wonderful experience. Everything that is mention in the website it is exactly as it is.
May is a wonderful operator with great guides that speak English. They ensure the hike is safe, explain the journey before hand and prepare me will for the hike.
More important, the entire supply chain of the hike directly benefit the local community. They have great understanding of the land and able to give you a great hiking and culture experience.
I was surprise that foraging from the forest is included in the trip. We walk along the trial and I was shown and get the oppotunity to try what the Black Hmong people forage from their forest for 100s of years.
I highly Recomend Sapa weather tracking tours. Be it you want a simple hike or a more challenging 2-3 days hike. You will be in good hand.
Ask for guide Su. She is very chatty and wonderful guide.

The most beautiful trek in a local village with Mi. She was super accommodating and started later in the day for us. Also allowed us to do a shorter trek to accommodate all. Also offers longer treks. The local village and the scenery was lovely. Not to mention all the dogs we saw. She also showed us a stunning cafe to stop in at the start. And then joined us for lunch at the end. We didn’t feel rushed in the slightest

Mai is an absolute delight. Friendly, joyful and informative. Loved the trek Tavan to Ta Chai village. She went out of her way to help us with many things including transport, coffee and food places.
Highly recommend using Mai.

I was very happy to support the endeavors of Sapa Weather Trekking Tours, an all-woman company that employs local women as guides for treks and other outings in the Sapa region. I was impressed by their professionalism, demonstrated through their prompt and clear communication, easy-to-use website, and overall organization and attention to detail.
I participated in a two-day trek, with an overnight stay at the lovely homestay of Sung. Sapa Weather Trekking Tours provided lunch in a local village family’s house, offering a truly authentic and delicious home-cooked meal. The second lunch at a village restaurant at the end of the trek was also excellent.
The highlight of my experience was my guide. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and easygoing. I learned so much from her and enjoyed the time we spent together. Being out on the land and in nature was refreshing, and it was an honor to walk through several villages and witness the people and their practices up close.
When you arrive in Sapa, you will see many people offering to guide you on treks. I am glad I made the decision to contact Sapa Weather Trekking Tours for my arrangements. I highly recommend the experience, the organization, and my wonderful guide, Sung. This has been one of the highlights of my time in Southeast Asia.

We did a few different tours with Sapa Weather and they were absolutely amazing! On each walk we saw different parts of the valley and villages – it was so beautiful and felt really well tailored to us 🙂 At the overnight homestay we tried the cooking class and batik workshop – it all turned out surprisingly well which must be a testament to the teaching! Mai, our guide was wonderful and taught us so much about the local way of life and her hopes for her community – these tours really made our stay in Sapa special, we would highly recommend Sapa Weather Trekking Tours!

We had an amazing guide, Chu, who spoke excellent English and shared so much about life in rural Vietnam. When we mentioned wanting to avoid the tourist trail, she took us on a new route, which we really appreciated.
At the homestay, the host invited us to help make spring rolls and prepared a delicious dinner. We also had some time in the evening to relax at the local bars in the village, which was a nice way to unwind.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend booking with Sapa Weather Trekking Tours. I also recommend visiting the ethnography museum in Sapa before or after the hike, as it offers valuable insights into the village tribes. During our trek, we collected herb plants, which tied in with what we learned.
The route was quite slippery and steep, so it’s better suited for seasoned hikers. However, the guides are very friendly and would likely adjust the route if you mention that you might need some assistance.

Trekking through Sapa was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Words, photos, and videos simply can’t capture the beauty of the landscape. Our guide, Zee, was incredible—she gave us different options for each day’s trek and taught us so much about Sapa, its culture, and the local way of life as we walked. I would highly recommend this experience. Next time, I’d definitely opt for a 3-day trek!

We did the 2-day tour with our local guide, Dua, and it was an amazing experience! She shared so much about her culture and the history of the different villages around Sapa. Dua also opened up about her own life and even introduced us to her family, making it a truly special moment.
Sapa Weather Trekking Tours included lunch in a local house as part of our package, and we had a great time playing a local game involving homemade rice wine with the villagers.
The hiking was wonderful, and the landscapes were absolutely breathtaking!

We had an amazing time on the 2-day, 1-night homestay trek! We were lucky to have great weather, and the views were absolutely stunning. We trekked through several villages, rice fields, and even a bamboo forest. Our guide, Su, was wonderful—she shared a lot of knowledge about the local communities, their way of life, and farming practices. Su was very attentive during the trek, ensuring we were safe on the rocky paths and through some large puddles.
The homestay was lovely, and we enjoyed a delicious family dinner with “happy water” in the evening. We even got to help make spring rolls for dinner, which was a lot of fun.
I would definitely recommend this tour—it truly made the experience unforgettable for us!

We did a 2-day, 1-night trek with Dua and had a wonderful experience. She taught us so much about the area, cultures, and villages, answering all of our questions in great detail. Dua also adapted the trek to our needs—when we struggled with some of the terrain due to bad footwear and wet conditions, she adjusted the route and took us on more suitable paths that still allowed us to experience the stunning beauty of Sapa.
Our homestay was located quietly outside the village, offering wonderful views of the valley. It was a peaceful spot, and the family was warm and welcoming. They prepared delicious meals for both dinner and breakfast.
I would thoroughly recommend a trek with Sapa Weather Trekking Tours, especially knowing that all the money spent goes back into supporting the local Hmong communities.

An Absolutely Exceptional Experience with Sapa Weather Trekking Tours!
I had one of the best experiences of my entire trip to Vietnam with Sapa Weather Trekking Tours. This tour offers an authentic and insightful look into the lives of the local ethnic communities in Sapa, all led by knowledgeable local guides. What makes this experience even more special is that all profits go directly to supporting local families, which truly benefits the community.
The tour provided a detailed historical background of the region, and I learned about the current lives and challenges faced by the people here. The local guides were incredibly open and answered all of our questions, giving us a deeper understanding of the area and its culture.
I went on a long trek with Su, a lovely and friendly guide. We enjoyed an incredible lunch with a local Hmong family, and Su took the time to explain and show me the fascinating process of making indigo and hemp—it felt like witnessing real science in action! The entire experience felt personal and unhurried, which I truly appreciated. I had plenty of opportunities to chat with the family, adjust the length of the trek to my preference, and take as many photos as I wanted without feeling rushed.
For the first time on a guided tour, I felt like I could take my time and immerse myself in the experience. I absolutely loved it, and I highly recommend Sapa Weather Trekking Tours to anyone looking for an authentic and meaningful experience in Sapa!

Sapa Weather Trekking Tour provided us with an incredible hiking experience! The journey began with a fascinating and informative introduction by a lovely young local woman who spoke excellent English, giving us valuable insights into the local culture. Despite the foggy and drizzly weather, the charm and hospitality of our guides made the experience unforgettable.
Our guide led us past farms, where we saw water buffalo and met friendly farming families. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch in a local house—an incredibly authentic experience. Their homes are simple, some without running water, but they boil water over a fire, making it safe to drink. The food, cooked over an open fire during our walk, was the best Asian food we’ve ever tasted.
Our guide also showed us local herb plants, and we had a relaxing foot massage using these herbs after our long trek. It was the perfect way to unwind.
Overall, this was one of the most incredible and authentic experiences of our lives. If you want a genuine, memorable, and astonishing adventure, don’t hesitate to choose Sapa Weather Trekking Tour. Highly recommended!

Sapa Weather Trekking Tours! The connection to the ethnic minorities and local culture, especially with the focus on weaving, batik, and embroidery, must have offered a deep insight into the region’s traditions and artistry. Experiencing these textile workshops at the homes of the artisans adds such an authentic touch, allowing you to see firsthand the dedication and skill that goes into creating the traditional costumes.
We do 2-day trek which is locations must have been equally memorable, giving you a more intimate view of the local life and landscapes, without the usual crowds found in Sa Pa. Staying with a local family homestay, sharing dinner, and learning from them must have further enriched your understanding of their daily lives and culture.
It’s amazing that Sapa Weather Trekking provided this unique and personal approach!

We really enjoyed our two one-day treks with Mai in the October mist. She patiently explained the various route options before we set out each day, provided lots of information along the way, the lunches were delicious, and the transfers back to Sapa were efficiently organised. The walks were tough, but with Mai’s support we got the chance to explore beautiful scenery and understand local culture. Ahead of the trek, Mai responded really quickly and helpfully to all of my queries.

We had an unforgettable trekking experience in Sapa, all thanks to our amazing guide, Sue. From the start, Sue impressed us with her humor, intelligence, and engaging storytelling. She had us laughing the entire way and made the journey feel effortless, despite the challenging terrain.
Sue’s deep knowledge of the local culture, history, and landscape enriched our adventure. She made sure to tailor the experience to our skill level, and she always had interesting anecdotes to share, making each stop along the trek meaningful.
Beyond her expertise, Sue’s warm and friendly nature made us feel so welcome. She was always attentive, making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. It was clear that she loves what she does, and her passion for Sapa’s beautiful scenery and culture was contagious.
We can’t recommend Sue enough—if you’re planning a trek in Sapa, she is absolutely the guide you want by your side! Thank you, Sue, for an experience we’ll cherish forever!
