Cat Cat Village is in Sapa north of Vietnam, cat cat village about a 2 km walk from Sapa town. You can walk to Cat Cat Village without a guide because it’s an easy way to get to Cat Cat Village. 10 years ago Cat Cat Village was not popular the village was old and had many heritage of the Hmong ethnic minority’s traditional house. The Cat Cat village has Hmong ethnic minority people living here.
Cat Cat Village is very famous for Vietnamese tourists and international tourism too. Vietnamese tourists visit Cat Village on the weekend and during the Vietnam school holidays. If you are planning to visit Cat Cat Village on the weekend or school holiday it will be really busy.
There are many shops in Cat Cat Village where you can rent the Hmong’s traditional clothes for photos. We do not see any Western tourists renting the Hmong ethnic minority traditional clothes for taking photos but it’s quite popular for Vietnamese tourists to wear these traditional clothes to take photos
The price for an adult ticket to entrance Cat Cat Village is 150.000vnd per person. There is a river, waterfall and dance show in Cat Cat village along the way you will see the Hmong ethnic minority people embroider their traditional clothes also you can go to the Hmong traditional house and have a look. This village is very modern and more manmade but inside the house where there is a dance show, there is a power station built by the French people in 1925.
